Welcome to Bora Women Go Green
Bora Women Go Green is a non-governmental environmental group founded by a passionate collective of women who believe that protecting nature is protecting our future.
What began as small community clean-ups and tree planting activities has grown into structured environmental programs that promote conservation, climate awareness, and green innovation.
Through the Go Green – Energize Tanzania campaign, we mobilize communities, especially women and youth, to take practical action toward environmental sustainability.

The group began with informal gatherings of women organizing:
From idea to community transformation, our projects follow a structured, community-centered approach that ensures sustainability, accountability, and real environmental change.
We begin by engaging local communities to understand environmental challenges, identify needs, and assess available resources before launching any initiative.
We mobilize women, youth, and local leaders to actively participate in planning and implementing conservation activities.
We execute structured activities such as tree planting, clean-up campaigns, workshops, and awareness programs with clear action plans.
We monitor progress, evaluate impact, and empower communities with knowledge and tools to sustain the project long-term.
